Our apps run entirely on your device. Offgrid Tools don't — and we'd rather say that plainly than borrow language that wouldn't be true here.
Not on-device — read this first
Everything under Apps runs entirely on your iPhone, with no server involved at all. Offgrid Tools are different on purpose: they connect to a third-party service on your behalf (like Threads), which means a server has to sit in the loop by necessity — there's no way to relay a post to a platform's API without one.
That means the claims that apply to our apps — "0 bytes sent," "no account, ever," "one-time purchase" — don't apply here, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Each tool below has its own plain-language explanation of what it can see, what it stores, and how billing works.
