Threads MCP
Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Threads MCP, operated by Offgrid Studio ("we," "us"). By connecting your Threads account, you agree to these Terms.
What the service does
Threads MCP is a connector that lets an AI assistant (Claude) post, schedule, reply, and report on your behalf on Threads, using access you explicitly grant through Threads' own authorization flow.
Your account and responsibilities
- You must have the right to post to any Threads account you connect.
- You're responsible for anything published through your connector, whether you typed it directly or asked Claude to draft it.
- You agree not to use the service to post content that violates Threads' own Community Guidelines, or to spam, harass, or mislead.
- Keep your connector URL private — it functions like a password and grants posting access to whoever holds it.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Free and paid plans are billed as described on our pricing page; prices may change with notice.
- Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel or change plans at any time via manage_subscription or Stripe's billing portal; changes take effect per Stripe's standard proration rules.
- Monthly post quotas reset on a rolling basis and don't carry over between periods.
- We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running reliably, including scheduled-post publishing, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled posts depend on both our infrastructure and Threads' own API being available at the scheduled time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or if required by Threads/Meta. You may disconnect at any time by revoking access from your Threads account settings.
Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is." We're not responsible for content you or Claude publish through your connector, for Threads' own platform changes or outages, or for any consequences of scheduled posts publishing later than expected due to factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
